It's a Wonderful Run 5k

December 28, 2017 - 5:43pm   Running

Late this fall, my friend Tina asked me and a few other friends if we wanted to participate in a holiday-themed 5k in Seneca Falls, called "It's a Wonderful Run." It's been happening for several years and I've always thought about doing it too late, so I was excited to decide to do it!

Bryce Canyon National Park

December 17, 2017 - 3:52pm

It’s only about a two hour drive between Zion and Bryce. We stayed at the Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn, in Bryce Canyon City, which is right outside the entrance to the park. The Inn/hotel thing we stayed at was huge.

The Hoover Dam

October 21, 2017 - 9:26pm

Our first stop after leaving our hotel in Las Vegas was the Hoover Dam. It was only about a 45 minute drive from Las Vegas. There’s a large parking garage you can park in for $10, then walk over and around the dam.

This year I went back to doing the sprint distance at the local tri in Ithaca, the Cayuga Lake Triathlon. This was my 5th time total doing this race -- my third time doing the sprint, and I had done the intermediate distance the past 2 years.

Race Report: Gillie Girl Triathlon

July 25, 2017 - 8:18pm   Triathalon

On Sunday I did the Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon in Camillus, NY. I did this race in 2014 and 2016, so it was my third year doing it. The nice thing about doing the same race multiple times is that you don't get very nervous! Also it's fun to be able to compare your times to previous years on the same course.
